During Open Studios at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I attempted a two and a half hour performance trying to learn how to break-dance following instructional videos from Youtube. This performance was taking on a literal rendition of the term "break" - taking a break when I got exhausted and breaking light bulbs in between the dance.
